Stepper tees up newest model – St. Andrew’s in Langdon

St. Andrews

Stepper Custom Homes’ newest showhome model presents a sophisticated style blended with natural elements fitting its location in the Langdon community of Boulder Creek Estates.

The name for this latest Stepper model - St. Andrews - is also apt given the location on a quiet cul-de-sac in this estate community that will literally by surrounded by a pristine 18-hole golf course.

“This is a new model that we’ve designed specifically for Langdon and to take advantage of the wider lots,” says marketing director Chuck Stepper. “The layout is definitely different from Calgary because the home is wider and it combines a modern interior with luxurious details and natural elements.”

Homes in Boulder Creek Estates feature prairie heritage architect reflective of the peaceful small-town living and Stepper has brought some of that charm inside St. Andrews with natural elements such as cherry hardwood floors and a decorative slate tile inset at the entry.

Matching slate tiles also surround the fabulous two-sided gas fireplace that stands from floor to ceiling in the centre of the main floor creating an impressive focal point in the home and ‘wowing’ visitors as soon as they enter this 2,417 sq. ft. two-storey home. The entry itself offers a sense of grandeur with its towering ceiling open to the second floor.

Just off the entry to the right is a front flex room decorated as a home office. To the left, is a half-bath, laundry room and mudroom with a built-in open locker design on one wall to store coats and boots and the garage entrance. The mudroom also leads to a large walk-through pantry into the kitchen.

The delicious kitchen will please the resident chef with its over-sized island providing substantial space for creating culinary delights and a raised eating bar, granite counter tops, maple cabinetry and stainless steel appliances including a high-tech fridge with TV monitor.

Across from the kitchen, the dining room presents a sophisticated style, while the central fireplace acts as a subtle separation effectively creating an intimate feel in the great room while still maintaining the home’s functional open floor plan.

Upstairs, owners will enjoy their private retreat with a master bedroom that provides an abundance of space to relax, and a luxurious ensuite boasting a large walk-in closet, expansive vanity with dual sinks separated by raised drawers and swivel TV screen, a corner tub and an oversized walk-in shower. The master bedroom is also set apart from the two kids’ bedrooms and main bathroom giving everyone their own sense of space.

Buyers in Boulder Creek Estates will appreciate the extra wide lots that average 60-feet, and offsetting garages allowing buyers to have three-car garages or even double length garages for four cars.

“The wider lots allow for offsetting garages so when you drive through Boulder Creek you can see front porches, yards and the golf course, not just a garage,” says Stepper. “It’s going to be a really fantastic community once it’s established.”

Langdon’s small-town atmosphere, schools and parks make it attractive for parents looking for a peaceful community to raise their children. It’s also great for commuters as the city is just a 20-minute drive away.

You can visit Stepper’s St. Andrew, Monday to Thursday 2 to 8 p.m., weekends and holidays, noon to 5 p.m., call 235-6127 or visit www.stepperhomes.com.
